About

Polina is a Russian theatre director working in the UK. After completing her training at LAMDA she went on to work as an assistant director at the Orange Tree Theatre. It was there that Polina made her professional debut with Dutchman by Amiri Baraka. The theatre's interest in new and re-discovered plays has been a strong influence on her work.

After working as an Associate for the Actors Touring Company, and going 'on the road' with the award-winning The Events, she is now a freelance director based in London.

Polina is a big fan of Hamilton, Erik Larson, grimy hip-hop songs, Harry Potter and the 'My Dad Wrote a Porno' podcast.
